See the full 2023 Hartford Yard Goats baseball schedule – NBC Connecticut

There’s still some baseball left to play this season as summer begins to draw to a close, but the Hartford Yard Goats Baseball Club is looking to next year as well.

The Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies has released the schedule for the 2023 season.

Mark your calendars for the home season opener on Thursday, April 6 against the Bowie Baysox — an affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles — as pro baseball returns to Dunkin’ Donuts Park in Hartford next year. Actual game times and promotions will be announced later.

The regular season runs until September 17.

Teams the Hartford Yard Goats will face off against

Binghamton Rumble Ponies: The Yard Goats will host the New York Mets subsidiary, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, for a series of six games, from April 18 to 23, then from September 5 to 10.

Portland Sea Dogs: Boston Red Sox affiliate, the Portland Sea Dogs, will be in Hartford for a six-game series May 16-21.

Somerset Patriots: New York Yankees affiliate Somerset Patriots will face the Yard Goats in Hartford for a six-game series June 6-11 and July 18-23.

The home schedule ends Sunday, September 10 against Binghamton.

“We are excited to begin planning for the 2023 season, as we are in the midst of a playoff hunt this year,” Yard Goats general manager Mike Abramson said in a statement. “Our fans’ appetite for Yard Goats Baseball at Dunkin’ Donuts Park is endless, and we’re thrilled to make ends meet.”

The Yard Goats have said they will start the final homestand of the regular season tonight at 7:05 p.m. against the Reading Fightin Phils at Dunkin’ Donuts Park. There will also be a six-game series against the Somerset Patriots.
